John Woolever is the Senior Manager of Product within the Americas region for Donaldson Company’s Mobile Solutions Aftermarket business vertical. He has over 20 years of filtration industry experience bringing value-added solutions to customers.
Lake Speed Jr is the president of SPEEDiagnostix and also works as Triblologist for Total Seal Piston Rings. He holds STLE Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) and Oil Monitoring Analyst (OMA) 1 Certifications. While working for the Joe Gibbs Racing NASCAR team, Lake led a lubricant development team that employed the science of Tribology to racing engines and drivetrains. As part of the oil development program, the team worked to develop filters specifically for challenging environments where engine filtration played as critical of a role as the lubricant itself did. He also works with the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) on the education side by co-teaching classes and doing educational webinars or the organization. Lake’s experience in the harsh environments of the high-performance engines relates to the extreme environments of the mobile off-highway equipment world.
