Wilma Nacion Named Chief HR Officer By Madison Realty Capital

With effect from May 30, 2023, Wilma Nacion, the former chief human resources officer of Marathon Asset Management, will serve as managing director and chief human resources officer at Madison Realty Capital, a vertically integrated real estate private equity firm that specializes in debt and equity investment strategies. Ms. Nacion will oversee the human resources department at Madison Realty Capital and report to its managing principals and co-founders, Josh Zegen and Brian Shatz.

Ms. Nacion brings to Madison Realty Capital her extensive experience directing organizational reforms, talent acquisition, and people management. She has more than thirty years of experience in key human resources roles at international financial corporations. She most recently held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at Marathon Asset Management, where she oversaw the organization’s pandemic response plan for remote employees and served on the Diversity & Inclusion Council, Executive Committee, Compensation, and Title Committees.

Prior to joining Marathon Asset Management, Ms. Nacion held the positions of FS Advisory Recruiting Leader at PWC (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers) and Global Head of Recruiting for investment bank Houlihan Lokey. She formerly held a number of executive positions in human resources at EY (formerly Ernst & Young), KPMG, Salomon Smith Barney, and Lehman Brothers. Ms. Nacion graduated from Stony Brook University with a B.S. in Economics and holds the SHRM-CP certification.
